Partitioning numbers and creating a number line.

  In 3W we have been looking at partitioning numbers into tens and ones. This is an essential skills that will help students to have confidence when working with two digit numbers. Once the students start to recognise the patterns within numbers it will enable them to work on adding, subtracting, multiplication and division.

   Working as a team 3W created their own number line. They used great vocabulary like first and next when organising the numbers.
